Here's the rough that the big stone came out of, sitting side by side. This magnificent, one of a kind, gemstone was faceted by Ben Kho, ninetime AGTA spectrum winner. The finished stone is a flawless 8.05 carat, Portuguese oval with 112 facets, measuring 13.9 mm long x 8.35 mm wide x 10.29 mm deep. It is now the third largest Benitoite discovered in a hundred years of the mines history. ( Not actual size ) ( Photographed by Harold and Erica Van Pelt )
Price: $500,000

Here's a 500 pound boulder of Glaucophane Schist with three big vugs full of huge Neptunites, bound to have some Benitoites in underneath the Natrolite. This unprocessed specimen is one of the last large specimens from the old historical vain. Hopefully, it will end up in a museum.
